About

Oleksandra Kiktenko is a Ukrainian concert pianist whose playing reflects both sensitivity and strength, shaped by her deep connection to her cultural roots. She feels most inspired when making music with others – musicians, singers, or artists – where honesty, humor, and shared creativity become part of the process. One of her missions is to bring the richness of Ukrainian music to audiences around the world and to connect people with art beyond borders.

Born in 2003 in Kharkiv, Oleksandra began playing the piano at the age of five at the Kharkiv Specialized Music School (now the Kharkiv State Music Lyceum). At fifteen, she made her orchestral debut with the Youth Academic Symphony Orchestra “Slobozhansky.” That experience became a turning point in her musical journey, shaping the direction of her artistic growth.
In 2020, she entered the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv. Since 2022, her life path has led her to Hanover, Germany, where she continues her studies at the University of Music, Drama and Media under Prof. Ewa Kupiec.

Over the past years, Oleksandra has appeared both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in several European countries. Following the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, she joined many fellow musicians in organizing and performing benefit concerts in support of those affected at home.

Oleksandra has participated in masterclasses with pianists such as Imogen Cooper, Avedis Koujoumdjian, Alexander Kobrin, Roland Krüger, and Rena Shereshevskaya. She also takes part in international festivals, including Bieszczady bez granic in Poland, the Hiiumaa Homecoming Festival in Estonia, the Colluvio Chamber Music Academy, the Schiermonnikoog Festival, and French Connection Academy among others.
